In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean Silk Pyjamas Company Ireland. "You" means the person using the site or placing an order.
Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use this website and when you buy from us. By using the site you agree to them, so please read them before you order. You also agree to follow any other policies linked from the site that apply to what you are doing.
We may change the site and these terms from time to time. The terms shown when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
Age
You must be 18 or over to place an order. If you are under 18, please use this site only with a parent or guardian.
Orders
Checkout is as a guest. There are no customer accounts on this site.
When you place an order, you are offering to buy the items in your basket. A contract forms when we email you an order confirmation.
We may decline or cancel an order, for example where an item is unavailable, your details cannot be checked, fraud is suspected, or we believe the order breaks the law or harms our business. If we do, we refund any payment taken in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euro. Your basket shows the item prices, any discount and the delivery charge before you pay.
You pay by card through Stripe or by PayPal. Your payment details are handled by those providers on their own services. We do not see or store your full card number.
If an obvious pricing or description error affects your order, we will contact you before it ships. You can then go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Product information
We take care with descriptions and photographs. Colours can look different from one screen to another, and sizes and measurements are approximate. Our mulberry silk products are described as silk. Our satin products are a satin weave made from synthetic (polyester) fibre, even where a product name also uses the word silk. See our disclaimer for more.
Delivery, cancellation and returns
Our shipping and refunds and returns pages form part of these terms. They include your right to withdraw within 14 days of delivery, our own 15 day returns policy, and free cancellation before your order ships.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 or any other law that cannot be excluded. That includes your rights when goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
Using this website
We give you a limited, personal licence to view and use this site for shopping. The licence cannot be transferred, and we may withdraw it if you break these terms.
You must not upload, send or publish anything through this site that:
- contains viruses, malware or other harmful code;
- is defamatory, threatening, obscene, discriminatory, or could lead to civil or criminal liability under the law of Ireland or any other country that applies;
- infringes anyone's copyright, trade marks, patents, trade secrets or other rights.
Do not interfere with how the site works or try to get unauthorised access to it.
Our content
The images, text, designs, icons, photographs, videos and other material on this site are for your personal, non-commercial use. Unless we agree in writing first, you may not copy, publish, sell, change or otherwise use them for another business, and you may not copy, reverse-engineer or decompile the site or any part of it.

Our limited liability and indemnity page explains the limits that apply. None of them affect your rights under Irish consumer law.

Complaints
If something is wrong, email theteam@customersupport.care first and we will try to put it right. You can find independent information about your rights from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission at ccpc.ie.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Irish law, and the Irish courts can deal with any dispute. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law where you live, and you can also bring a claim in the courts there.
